Coaching vision

The key to learning and lasting change

MEET. EXPLORE. CHANGE.

Coaching begins with an encounter. In what happens between you and me, in the space between words. There are no ready-made answers, but rather a process of exploring together: what touches us, what rubs us the wrong way, what is possible. Change arises from this attentive relationship. Not imposed from outside, but felt and carried from within.

Clear goals, strong collaboration
Coaching works best when a good relationship is combined with a substantive focus and goal-oriented work in practice. Clear agreements about goals, cooperation and working methods, also known as the working alliance, provide security and direction. They make it possible to explore what really matters and to take steps that fit who you are and where you want to go.

Flexibly attuning to what you need
Research¹ shows that all professional coaching methods are effective, but not all methods are equally suitable for every coachee. I therefore believe it is important to remain flexible and adapt my approach as your emotions and circumstances change. I tailor my coaching style to your needs. By nature, I have a counselling coaching style that fits well with a need for empathy and warmth. But if it is effective for you, I also work in a more confrontational way (often later in the coaching process). I also regularly check the effectiveness of the coaching. You can expect me to ask questions such as:
‘Is the way I am coaching you helpful to you?’ or
'How do you feel about our contact so far?'

Relational coaching
My coaching style is rooted in the relational coaching philosophy²,which is firmly anchored in scientific research and practical experience. I was deeply moved by it during my Master's in Coaching at Ashridge. What emerges in our contact, in language, in silences and in reactions, can reflect broader patterns in your work or life. By paying attention to this, space is created for awareness, clarity and new possibilities. Always tailored to your question, your pace and your context.
