Learning vision
Sweet April showers bring May flowers
EXPERIENCE. FEEL. ANCHOR.
By actively stepping into new situations, you discover how you respond to uncertainty and complexity. This is not a passive process, but a dynamic cycle of experiencing, reflecting, understanding and applying.
Sweet April showers bring May flowers.
For me, that is a striking metaphor. Learning is nourishing and necessary for growth, but it can also be turbulent and uncomfortable. It is precisely in that discomfort that an invitation lies: to delve deeper into yourself, explore hidden possibilities and invite the unknown. Just like nature, which constantly finds answers to resistance and can blossom in surprising ways. I believe in experiential learning, learning that sticks because you have lived it yourself.
Challenging and safe
I see a powerful learning environment as a place that is both challenging and safe. Where you can experiment, make mistakes and discover new possibilities. That balance is essential: enough challenge to get you moving, but never so much stress that learning stagnates. Digital technology can enrich learning, but in my view, human contact remains indispensable.
Staying agile and healthy
Learning is essential to remain agile and healthy in a world of continuous and unexpected change. And while you learn, all kinds of things are happening beneath the surface: your focus and memory are sharpened, your problem-solving skills grow, creativity is stimulated, and your resilience increases. You also notice the difference in organisations. Learning fuels innovation and increases your adaptability.
